Born Pretty Store Products Review
Hey darlings! Born Pretty Store sent me some amazing products to review. I used 2 of them in this mani, the white striping tape and the neon pink 2mm studs.
This summer has been all about clean, white manicures (which I love), so why not go bold and add a crazy accent nail! I used OPI-My Boyfriend Scales Walls, Wet N Wild-Black Crème, and Seche Vite topcoat.
White Striping Tape: They offer 0.5mm wide striping tape in 30 different colors for 99 cents a roll! I’ve always heard striping tape was hard to work with, but I didn’t have any problems. Rather than leaving the tape on my nail, I chose to paint the nail white, letting it dry completely. Then I applied the tape and painted the nail black and peeled off the tape while the black paint was still wet. This creates perfectly straight lines! I will definitely use this a lot and will probably buy some colors to leave on the nail next time.
Neon Pink 2mm Studs: I officially want these in every color! They are 2mm in diameter, and slightly rounded on top. They came in a little baggie containing 200 pieces for $2.99, which is a steal! They have 12 colors to choose from and they’re all gorgeous. The ones pictured are #8. I applied these with a dotting tool onto tacky polish, then sealed them in with a coat of Seche Vite, super simple, but makes your mani pop! I’ll definitely be getting more colors.
Overall, I love everything I received. They were shipped on August 8th and received on August 19th, which is not bad at all for free shipping. If you decide to check out Born Pretty Store, use my coupon code FULLG10 for 10% off your order! Thanks for reading :)
